Background: Increased acceptance and uptake of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines is very essential in containing the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Vaccine hesitancy a threat to public health containment infectious diseases. Aim: The main aim this study was review published articles regarding vaccine acceptability across all populations Africa. Materials methods: This narrative review. A comprehensive literature search done using PubMed, Google Scholar, Scopus, EMBASE keywords acceptability, hesitancy, vaccine, pandemic, H1N1 swine flu, flu Africa, Boolean word AND. cited between March 2001 June 2021. Results: few studies were Africa so far are among healthcare workers medical students. Acceptance vaccination against ranged from 15.4% 55.9%. shows increased receive African countries. Many people concerned about potential adverse effects ineffectiveness vaccines. Misinformation has contributed reported different studies. Moreover, sociodemographic characteristics also predictors Conclusion: Low rates indicates COVID-19. low can hinder required 60-70% vaccinations achieve herd immunity.
